It is generally accepted that it is impossible to get an amazing taste of espresso, cappuccino or latte without a coffee machine, since it is problematic to prepare good quality coffee foam. It turns out that you can brew an excellent quality drink at home, using everything that is at hand.

  1. How to make instant coffee with foam

    To get a fluffy foam, you can mix 1 tablespoon of instant coffee with sugar, add 20 ml of water and beat the resulting mixture until it changes color. Then pour the mixture with 50-70 ml of water and continue beating until a dense creamy mass is obtained. Pour warmed milk into a glass, and put the resulting cream on top.
  2. How to brew coffee with foam in a Turk
    For 100 ml of water, you should take about 8-10 gr. freshly ground coffee. Before starting cooking, you need to warm up the cezve, then add coffee, adding a pinch of salt and sugar: even in a minimal amount, it can increase the density of the foam. Then pour cold water (up to the neck) and mix, then put on a slow fire. With the beginning of raising the foam, the Turk can be removed from the stove and pour the resulting drink into a heated cup. The use of various ground spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, black pepper, etc.), which can be sprinkled on the foam or added to coffee at the preparation stage, will diversify the taste sensations.

    Foam – thick, stable, golden hazel color, is a sign of quality espresso. And which one is preferable to use coffee so that the foam is of the best quality? Experts recommend using blends of Arabica and Robusta in a ratio of 80/20 (for example, Wilfredo) or 75/25 (Paganini). It is better to use water for making coffee with a mineralization of 75-250 mg/l. And most importantly: coffee must be freshly roasted, otherwise the magical properties of the drink, even with excellent quality foam, will simply disappear; after 17-20 days after roasting, coffee loses its aromatic properties.

  • Latte with caramel:
    One to two tablespoons of sugar should be dissolved, stirring slowly, in 20 ml of water. When the sugar reaches a golden hue, you need to remove from heat, cool and add 100 ml of pre-prepared espresso. Heat, without boiling, 100 ml of milk, then beat it into foam and pour into espresso.
